Welcome to Sarnia
Tucked into a quiet, central road in the beautiful seaside village of Marazion, Sarnia has been our family's holiday cottage for over twenty years. Completely renovated and modernised, it's somewhere we love, and somewhere many families return to, year after year.
You're just 100 yards from the safe, sandy beach and the village centre, with the fairy-tale castle of St Michael's Mount rising out of the bay. It's the perfect base to explore West Cornwall, or simply to slow down, light the wood burner, and watch the tide roll in.

The Accommodation
Spacious open-plan living with a wood-burning stove, a bright sun lounge, and three bedrooms sleeping six. Everything you need for a relaxed Cornish escape, in any season.
Lounge, kitchen and diner with seating for six, a comfy bed-settee, TV, DVD and music, opening through to a sunny conservatory.
A cosy multi-fuel burner for snug winter breaks, plus app-controlled storage heaters throughout. The house is always warm out of season.
Two doubles (one a zip-and-link king or twin) and a third room with bunks. Travel cot, highchair and stair gate all available.
One bedroom opens onto a sunny roof terrace with views across the bay, with French doors and morning coffee included.
Large downstairs walk-in shower with a separate upstairs WC and washbasin, easy for a busy family.
An enclosed back yard and conservatory, safe for little ones, with a patio that's perfect for a barbecue on a long Cornish evening.

Marazion & beyond
Marazion sits at the heart of West Penwith, a short hop from St Ives, Penzance, Land's End and the Minack. Here are a few of our favourites, all within about ten miles.
A long, safe, sandy beach with sailing, windsurfing and paddleboarding. The fairy-tale castle is reached on foot at low tide or by ferry at high. A wonderful spot for children, with a great adventure playground two minutes from the door.
Three beautiful beaches, an artists' harbour and the Tate overlooking Porthmeor.
Regency streets, galleries, sub-tropical gardens and the art-deco sea-water lido.
Shell-sand coves below the cliff-carved open-air theatre.
Dramatic clifftops, Sennen's surf and miles of South West Coast Path walking.
Picture-perfect fishing harbours, a thriving art colony and famously good ice cream, plus the spectacular scenery, Flambards and the Gweek seal sanctuary out towards the Lizard.

Weekly rents include cleaning and electricity. Weekend and short breaks are available by arrangement with us, just ask.
